Guild T-Shirts are HERE! We've been a guild for over 3 years now, it's time to show some pride!

These were originally considered for BlizzCon 2011, Now available for everyone. First run is being printed by "Evil Genius Threads" out of Sacramento. The design is by Matt Salvo of Salvo Image (www.salvoimage.com).

The current price is around $15-18, Let's assume $18. I provide a deposit Wednesday to the manufacturer; once that's done orders will be processed via google checkout. l will need payment in advance of creation (I'd rather not float $200-300 and have anyone flake)

Currently there are 2 options "Men's and Women's" with any size available. These are regular T-shirts so its best to order them a bit large.

If its not in this post, then you wont be on the order. I may order a few "extras" for prizes as well.

So it looks like the shirts are $26.00 a pop, $13.49 if 12 get ordered, $12.47 if 36 get ordered.

The only issue I have with CafePress is sometimes their stuff doesnt come out too well and the shirts arent female friendly, at least when I ordered from them. Of course, if this is the best option, count Sheemie and I in for one each.

That's why the girl I was talking to mentioned female sizing and doing the design so it turned out well :) she's also a graphic design artist and does most of their web site work so I was assured it would turn out well if that route was taken. :)

My friend is a successful graphics designer, and going to help design the t-shirt. We should have something this weekend to show off.

Based on the feed back from this forum (and i'll make a post on the facebook site as well) I'll get pricing through Arth's friend and workout the payments from there. Either I can order it and deliver the shirts at the con, or we can use the cafepress site to individually order them.

So folks, looking for design ideas, what would you want from a GG t-shirt? our initial brainstorming session came up with the following "high-level" ideas:
- black or grey shirts
- "grunge" artistic flair in a darker color (black or dark grey)
- "GG" in blue 45 degree angle towards the bottom.
- Grey Goose of Ner'Zhul somewhere in the design
- QR code or URL to the website near the collar on the back.
- Also with the move to "expand" the site to other games again, something around Grey Goose Gaming or G^3.

Personally I'd rather see a G3 shirt and not a shirt that says Grey Goose of Ner'Zhul. I do like the QR code.

I was thinking the front side of the shirt could be simplistic with some type of G3 design and on the back it says Grey Goose Gaming and in smaller writing somewhere next to it say "Get Some".

QR Codes are like bar-codes that smart-phones can scan with their camera and direct people to our website. they square and kinda cool looking.

Or maybe it can actually go ON the collar? I really dont see many people stopping you and making you stay steady long enough to scan the barcode as it is so does it matter where it is ? Yes I can see aesthetically it may look better centered on the back under the collar but yea :P

Grey and White, simple color scheme. (makes the shirts cost less as well). The flaming cock will be fixed. the font for "grey goose" is going to get more "vintage" as with the G3 on the back bottom.

Honestly, yes you are paying for them but I'm fronting the money and taking the risk on this. If you don't think you'll be happy with it or like it, please don't have me order you one.

For what its worth, I like the back and the overall design. I would just prefer deathwing's head to be a bit bigger, so it could be more detailed because the weapons are like 3x the size of the head and it is hard to tell what it is supposed to be.

However, even if the design does not change from what is currently in this thread, I will still buy one.

As for the shirt. I'd say drop the word community and change the Gaming font and style to match Grey Goose. Get Some should probably be changed to vintage as well so the whole shirt has the same feel. I do think we should try to get a G3 in there some where. Maybe on the sleeve? The only thing I'd be concerned about is printing "THE FLYING GOOSE DEVICE" which is a registered trademark.
